How to prepare for your floor staining?
First, we visit your property to assess the floor, talk through colours and, where possible, apply sample patches so you can see the real shade. Next, we sand the floor back to bare wood, so the stain absorbs evenly and the grain comes through beautifully. We then apply your chosen Mylands or Morrells stain across the whole floor for a rich, consistent colour, before sealing it with a hard-wearing lacquer or oil in your chosen sheen. Finally, we clean up and leave you with a stunning, freshly coloured floor ready to enjoy.
